The latest innovation from AROL in corking. The Quasar solution uses a floor mounted sorter and a vacuum transfer tube to present the cork to a rotary pick and place device which delivers the cork to the individual corking head. The Arol modular design allows the corker to be installed as a stand alone machine or as part of a filler/corker mono-bloc. Available in sizes from 3 to 30 heads, providing for production speeds from 70 to 750 bpm. The corker is capable of supplying flushing gas and/or vacuum in any sequence of steps the customer desires.

Cork dust in the area above the open bottle is dramatically reduced with this innovation. The Quasar also utilizes a proprietary design which allows for the tool-less removal of the cork compression box assembly, saving time and labor in maintaining and cleaning the machine. The use of a rotary Pick and Place device to supply one cork to one corking head is an internationally patented innovation of AROL.

The Euro VA-C capper is designed for the application of aluminum roll-on closures, including the "Stel-Vin" or "Stel-Cap" 30mm x 60mm long skirted wine cap. The Arol modular design allows the capper to be installed as a stand alone machine or as part of a filler/corker/capper mono-bloc. Available in sizes from 1 to 36 heads, providing for production speeds from 50 to 900 bpm. New with the EURO/Vacuum variant is the ability to draw a vacuum on the headspace of the bottle prior to rolling the threads, thereby providing a vacuum atmosphere under a aluminum ROPP cap.

This innovation allows the vintner to achieve a vacuum under the sealed cap as is currently done on corked wine packages. AROL holds an international patent pending design for this vacuum technology.

The Kamma TS features a direct insertion of the closure into the closing mechanism. The Kamma PK TS L features a pick-and-place device. The shape of the cap or cork stopper determines which model is best suited for the application.
